Just a blood test done...I've had nothing strange or unordinary on my genitals in the past few months, and I'm only 18, so before that, there was no risk of exposure for me.
I just went to get a full panel, and they said my herpes result takes the longest. It took even more time than they thought and said it was due to a random quality assurance or accuracy thing where they redid a random batch of results and I guess mine was in it. I just got those results today though. I haven't noticed or seen anything unusual though.
Last time was about 2 and a half weeks ago....before that was probably a full 3. I'm going to an internest and a urologist to get it checked out and see what they recommend. I'm definitely going for another blood test.
How likely is it that my numbers ARENT herpes as opposed to ARE?

When was the last time you had sex? If it was less than 3 months ago then wait until it has been and repeat the blood test then. If it's been more than that then you can get a biokit hsv2 blood test done, repeat the same blood test you had done or get a herpes WB blood test done.

since it's only been 2 1/2 weeks since you last had sex - repeat the blood test in 3 months and go from there. I know it's a long time to wait but not much else you can do. Your other option is if you are still in contact/planning on seeing the person you last had sex with - ask them to get a hsv2 igg blood test and share the results with you.
