Herpes and TPHA are they related

Hi,

Herpes and TPHA are they related.I have TPHA and have been treated for it.Is is mandatory that anyone who has herpes will have TPHA or who have TPHA will have herpes.
Are these 2 related.

I believe it stands for "Treponema Pallidum Haemagglutination Test." Treponema pallidum spirochete causes syphilis, so TPHA must be the blood test for syphilis.

That's what I was thinking.

TPHA isn't an infection - its just the test for syphilis, unless there is something we are missing.

And if you mean do you automatically have herpes if you have syphilis, no you don't.
