I am getting symptoms which i believe could be a virus e.g herpes hsv2. I have always had hsv1 orally. My exposure was unprotected oral and protected vaginal once with a csw 6 weeks ago. I constantly get tingles over my body and now i have a very sore throat, runny nose, enlarged neck and groin nodes and feeling very run down. If i take a herpes igg blood test will it be accurate in ruling out my current symptoms as being herpes?? For example, if my blood test shows negative herpes hsv2 does that mean my current symptoms are not hsv??
Im scared that me having hsv1 i picked up hsv2 and only getting mild symptoms now. I need to know asap as my girlfriend is asking why we arent having sex.
