Almost a week ago while using the bathroom I noticed along the hair line of my labia majora where the um "crease" is there was a a bump. It was only tender to touch but it wasnt red or anything. It wasn't like a pimple so i thought it was an ingrown
just a faint white. So I left it alone but knowing it was there I kept going to look at it. Well impatient as I am I poked at it with a need to get the hair out, needless to say it hurt to poke and their was no hair. So ii squeezed and like a pimple at first nothing came out then blood with a little clear liquid and a little pus came out but nothing really. So ii cleaned it up and went to bed. I woke up a few hours later and checked it and noticed a little pus bubble sitting on top and just wiped it off and nothing was there. I've had an ingrown

It scares me and I'm putting my life on hold because of it. (side note I checked it right now just to see if there's a difference today and the swell is down but it looks like a greyish circle where the swelling

Does it need to be swabbed to
Find out what it is?
The swab from a lesion is the best way, since you get a prompt answer.
You (and your partner) can get a type specific blood test for herpes (igG, not igM) now and check the results. But if this is a recent infection, blood tests take up to 3-4 months to become positive.
But it would be best to be seen by a doctor to learn if your symptoms look herpetic or not. As I said above, this can be a number of things.
