Herpes from a *******

Hi, I just got a blowjob (unprotected) from a prostitute 4 days ago, what are the chances for me to get  
an STD specifically Herpes?

You aren't likely at all to get hiv from receiving oral sex. Plenty of posts on the std expert board on this for further reading. Also plenty of info on std's in general on www.ashastd.org too for more reading.

Hsv1 is the main culprit as far as herpes from oral sex.

adn - have you ever had any herpes testing done before to know if you have to be concerned about hsv1 or can you recall ever having a cold sore?

i may be 17 and not know much about sex(not a virgin) but i know for a fact the chances of getting HIV from unprotected blowjob is 1-20 000 and some experct doctors belive no risk at all .. its not funny how your trying to scare people this is ******* serious its not a joke holy **** ... god have faith in you

Generally speaking, oral sex is usually pretty safe sex.  That being said, it's still possible to contract certain stds, particularly gonorrhea and herpes is possible too.  however, unless the prostitute had a visible cold sore or such, your chances of contracting herpes are pretty low.  id be more worried about gonorrhea or ngu.
