Herpes from oral sex

I recieved oral from a guy.  Just his lips on the head of my penis.  8 days later the head of my penis tingled for 2 days.  On the 3rd day the tingling stopped.  It is now 10 days since the event.  There is no pain or discomfort when I urinate and I cannot see any strange spots on my penis.  How likely is it that I have caught herpes from this encounter?

Tingling alone is not a herpes symptom. You can read this post of Dr. Handsfield's about it:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/oral-sex-with-tingling-penis/show/1411732

Most symptoms appear 2-20 days post encounter. It takes more than brief "lips on a penis"  The virus needs heat/friction, sort of "massaged" into the skin. That aside, a one time encounter is incredibly low risk (assuming he even had oral herpes and was contagious at the time). I'd turn off the crotch watch.

Thanks Grace
No never been tested for herpes and never had cold sores.

What is the time frame of the symptoms?
1 ...At 8 days,  the head of my penis tingled for 2 days.
2 ...No more symptoms after that.  Now at 13th day without symptoms.
3...No redness, spots etc:
4...Does the rash, spots etc: come directly after the tingling or can there be a lull of a few symptom-less days between them?
