Herpes from someone blowing on my vagina?

Hi,

I know this sounds so stupid but I am so worried, can you get herpes from someone literally blowing air at your vagina? I didn't feel any spit hit me but I'm so paranoid about these things. I haven't had sex ever and I have not had any kind of outbreak, but I just really want to know. THANK YOU!!

this was not a risk for you.

herpes is not transmitted through droplet. it's a direct contact infection and requires direct skin on skin contact to transmit.

I've read that the virus can be passed on through saliva and even the droplets in someone's breath, which is why I'm so freaked.

It requires considerable skin to skin contact (rubbing together) for the virus to be transmitted. Zero risk here.
