Herpes help (I have hsv 1 oral)

Hello,

What are the chances of contracting genital hsv 1 from multiple oral sex ? She went down on me 4 times in the same night and she stated that she's clean since in Feb she recently had gastric bypass surgery and she was on medication...NOW! My worry is that she gave me hsv1 on my genials because I noticed in a picture she took that night and when I zoomed in her lips while looking at the picture... it looked like she had a raised bump with a dark spot on top of it....could that be a way to transmit it to me ? I have no blister or sores or any type of red dots on my penis just a small like discomfort/pain on the head it has been 10 days since encounter...I read that having hsv 1 orally can protect me from getting it on my genitals ? I asked a nurse at the std clinic and said its still possible to get it on your genitals? would this be enought time to tell?...can the slight discomfort/pain be a symptom?  Please help

Thanks !

Ok understood ! I had to leave work early today and talk to a nurse at the health clinic in person and she confirmed what you stated ! But I asked her if I needed a gonorhea and chlamidya test and she also stated NO! What are ur thoughts on if I do or don't need further testing ?

Thanks

Hi, yes having hsv1 oral would make you basicly immune to contracting it genital. Your irritation would appear to be more of an injury from the affair.

It isn't likely that you would contract hsv1 genitally when you have a well established oral hsv1 infection. No real reason to worry about it from this encounter.

The friction of oral sex can cause slight discomfort.
