Herpes hsv2 - test 1.29 hsv1-5.04+ am I positive

Okay so I recently went in for a blood test is it possibly that my test for hsv2 is positive negative? I read that some people can actually have a false reading.. My result came back as a 1.29 under the test of “CLIA” from Lab Corp and the hsv1 test was like over 5.0+ I know for a fact I have herpes 1 is it possible that I don’t have type 2? What tests can I do to make sure I heard I can do a Herpes Simplex Virus Culture and Typing to confirm or what are my options? As Can you get HSV2  a girls mouth and how long would it take before you would test positive like after 6 days or what’s normal?  Thanks so much just a concerned and scared male please help

It looks like your HSV2 value is in the low positive range I heard that anything below 3.50 or so is a low positive and has a good chance of being actually negative. Since you have HSV-1 it is possible the test counted some of those antibodies for HSV-2. Test again in a few weeks to see it the value changes.
