Herpes labialis

Dear doctor,
Im a 23 year old university student. I have had casual sex few times. Oral an anal.
Now im having a cluster of blisters near the margin of my lower lip, which is pain less. No pain at all. I took Aciclovir 200mg 5times a day for 5 days. But no improvement.
1.Could this be HSV?
2. I f so is it HSV-1 or HSV-2?
3.If it is HSV will i transmit it to my family members by sharing utensils?

You don't have to have sex to acquire oral herpes. It's not an STD and most adults have it, some from childhood from that big smooch from Auntie. To answer your questions:
1. Sure. Get tested to find out. IgG type specific blood test, or a swab/culture of an active lesion.
2. Almost certainly HSV1. Only 3% of oral herpes cases are HSV2.
3. No.

No reason to take antivirals if in fact you don't have herpes! So, be seen and tested if you want to know.
