Herpes on hair

I swallowed a hair from a person who has herpes.
Do i have a risk to have herpes if the hair touched the sore before ?
Does herpes live on hair ?
How many time the virus can live out of the body ? (on hair,objects,...)

In my opinion, you would not be at risk for swallowing a hair. Generally it requires direct contact/friction.

Herpes does not live outside the body for long. If your body had no prior exposure and it was a new infection then it may be possible to touch a sore and spread it. Other than that it seems rare. You could live with this person all your life and not have to worry about it (assuming you took the most basic precautions)

Hope that this info is accurate and answers your question.

Thanks for the answer.
I know that it can't be spread by objects, that's what the doctor told me but hair's not an object so i thought it could live a little longer on it.
My fear is probably too extreme.
