Herpes on tongue?

I gave cunnilingus to a woman on Wednesday night & I woke up the following Friday with two bumps on my tongue.  The bumps are painful but do not effect the rest of my mouth.  Is it possible that I have herpes on my tongue now?

Tip of tongue. Woke in night with very slight abrasion. Seemed odd. Uncharacteristic of anything ever before. For a couple days looked like a red mark, almost traumatic, then tiny blisters would arise for a day or so then ulcer. Went on for 10 days or so. Then healed up. Still can feel it there and I can see mark. 3 weeks later. Just hope it never comes back as I'm told ohsv2 recurrence and shedding is rare. Preying that is applicable in my case.

Hi, I have just been diagnosed via a swab with oral hsv 2 after an initial ob on my tongue, appeared a few days after oral sex. I would recommend seeing a dr and getting them swabbed. Everything on here says rare but I can confirm it happened to me.

What are the odds of getting herpes on the tongue?  I heard it is rare... Should I be worried?
