I was with a girl in college a year ago for about 5 months who had Herpes or HSV-1 and had rare cold sore outbreaks from time to time. She never told about it, and she told me she was clean. We had occasional sex
once. She did give me oral, maybe about 4-5 times, not often. I enlisted into the Army 8 months ago and was tested at MEPS for STD's, i never was notified or DQ'd after the test so i figured i was clean. About a month ago i was taking a shower when all the sudden i felt a Stinging feeling around my anus while cleaning out my crack area. I felt around the spot
and i don't recall feeling a bump of any sort. Later that day while going to the bathroom, i felt the pain again as i went to wipe, i looked at the paper and there was a small amount of blood. I decided to then, take a look around the area with a mirror and i did not notice any bumps, or abnormalities other than a little redness that could have been cause from irritation of wiping. The problem persisted roughly for about 2 weeks. Then went away.
At first i thought it was a Hemorrhoid, and i am still hoping thats all it was. But a couple days ago i decided to call and ask this girl from college if she had lied to me. She told me that she did have Herpes HSV-1 Simplex, but she didnt tell me because she thought it wasn't contagious. Well i know for a fact that it is contagious and i am obviously pretty angry.
, and i have never gotten a cold sore either.
So is it possible that the stinging in my anus means i could have gotten genital herpes from her giving me oral sex
. You can get tested for HSV but I would not suspect that it would have infected you there as it needs direct contact i.e. facial exposure will most likely turn into cold sores limited to the facial area.
So although HSV1 can infect the genitals and surrounding area, your symptoms are not necessarily anything serious. A dermatologist, or any doctor for that matter, would know more.
I have a mild case of Impacted bow syndrome, i usually have regular bow movements but on occasion i can go maybe 3 days before i have one. Ive never had this pain before though that i can remember.
I forgot to add, Ive been with different girl now for 7 months now, and we have been sexually active the whole period. Me and Her lost our virginity toghether our sophmore year of High School, and she has had no sexual contact of any form while we were parted, and she has not shown any signs or symptoms of anything. Though we use a condom during sex, we do not for oral.
Also, Ive been under ALOT of heavy stress the past 4 months as i fractured off my xiphoid process and it curled under my lung causing punctures and scar tissue of my lung.
I had surgery Last wednesday, And ive read Stress and Surgerys can and mostlikely will cause HSV1 to become active. And ive been fine, i havent gotten any cold sores of any sort.
Well, I guess i should say this but i know what the cause was.
When i woke up from surgery in the hospital i had to pee terribly.
So, the nurse took me to the restroom, and i could pee because it burned to bad, it was the worst burning pain ive ever felt, never felt anything like it before. So i asked the nurse why and she told me they had to insert a cathator for surgery.
Later that evening i tried again and just force it out through the pain. I used the restroom two hours later again and the pain was gone so.
She told me the pain was from the cathator. Idk if this has any relation or not.
your issues a month ago wasn't from the catheter. any urinary symptoms for up to 48 hours post surgery could've been. typically just drinking extra fluid helps.
Is it possible the pain around my anus under the skin? thus the reason i could not see anything or notice a real difference? I dont really make an effort to look there to often so im not really sure how it looks normally. I looked a few nights ago and last night as well, i pulled my cheeks apart to look inside to see if i could notice anything, and it looks as what i would describe as faintly purple colored swelled veins very close to the "exit area" or outside of my anus.
So, does this sound like hemmoroids (hemorrhoids)?
Or should i get tested?
P.S. Im straight, Nothing has ever been around my anus.
Well, the only pain or burning ive ever felt in my penis was last week right after surgery when i was trying to urinate, it was gone by the next day after i finally went for the first time.
I just wanted to throw as much information out as i could
The pain in my anus was a month before the surgery
at this point I recommend no more advanced yoga moves to see your anal area, no more finger probes etc. see your provider monday if the pain/irritation is still there.
