Herpes or Just an Infection??

I am 18 years old and I am seriously scared!  I had my first time 4 months ago and I haven't had sex since.  On Sunday night, I decided to shave down there after not shaving it for a couple of  weeks.  I ran out of the usual soap that I use so I decided to use this body wash instead.  After the shower, it felt like I have cut myself near my clitoris but when I looked, there was nothing.  That Monday morning, I woke up thinking that my clitoris is feeling ultra sensitive and I didn't think much of it, quite frankly, because I thought that it was because I cut it.  Tuesday, I started to think that this is unusual for this to be happening.  When I used a mirror to check things out, I noticed that my labia minora, right under my clitoris, was extremely red.  I decided just to keep an eye on it and just wash it with warm water.  Wednesday, I have taken a look and not only was it red but it had about 3 red little bumps right under the clitoris and it hurts when I touch it but it doesn't hurt when I urinate.  It was also a little itchy.  I started to get worried about it.  Thursday was more itchier than before but it looked about the same but on Friday those little red bumps turned into little white patches!  There are four of them and they hurt when I touch them.  But yet again, they dont hurt when i urinate.  It is still rather itchy.  Can someone please help me!?!?

Don't be scared. Its probably not herpes. But learn a good lesson from this. ALWAYS PROTECT YOURSELF!

I think if you had unprotected sex 4 months ago now would be as good a time as any to have a Herpes test done since Herpes is such a variable condition and not every individual follows the same pattern of events after infection as far as when an outbreak takes place it would be wise to have yourself checked out while this is on your mind ...... It may well be from the shaving incident but better to err on the side of caution and have it checked out if only to rest your mind about it.

So you know you potentially did something to your clitoris shaving, and now you're freaked out? If this was a new incidence of herpes, it would occur 2-20 days after someone transmitted it to you. You haven't had sex in 4 months. If it was herpes, it would be an existing infection. Still, logically it would seem the shaving is what caused your symptoms. Even a dirty razor can cause irritation and infection.

No one here can diagnose you. See your medical provider!
