Hi,
I stared feeling pain during intercouse and thought it was because of hair re-growth. The woman also had dryness issues, so we used a silicone based lube. Later I saw that the pain was in fact sore on the penis
as she was perfoming you know what. All the blood tests ran within 2-3 days returned negative for all STDs. My partner has had test done prior to a surgery to get her pelvix removed last October 2009 and had not had sex
since july 2009. I never had sores on my penis before and my last partner and I used to have unprotected sex up until of June 11th, 2010 when we broke up. I started with my new partner around end of June and now have these sores. Had I contracted any STD from my previous partner, I would have had the symptoms earlier. It does not burn each time I urinate; although it has happened. I am starting to feel as if I am getting sick which means an infection. I narrowed down to two conditions: Herpes and Bacterial infection as both have similar symptoms. I am confused since the sores I have appeared out of the blue and I did not have the clear-liquid-filled bumps they talk about with herpes also because of the circumstances I described above. Can someone help?
odds are your partner was never tested for herpes. even your own std testing most likely did not include herpes testing - you'd have to check to see.
herpes will not cause symptoms this quickly with a newly acquired infection. look into both of your herpes testing to cover that base but it really sounds like it was a lack of lube issue/irritation.
