Herpes or just a pimple

About a month ago I had unprotected sex, about 2 weeks later I noticed one single white bump resembling a pimple on the middle of my penis. I had masturbated the day before and that day without lubrication. I did notice a small area or raw skin on another area near the top of my penis. I have had areas of raw skin after masturbation before but I have never had a white-pimple like bump. The raw area went away after a few days and in the same time the bump reduced down to a dot and went away after about a week. I can't recall if I shaved or not, and I had not had much discomfort or itch out of the ordinary. It's two weeks later and I haven't had any other symptoms since, I did however have a mild cold/flu about a week after the symptoms cleared up. After reading I've been confused on whether that could have been herpes or if it is just some other skin condition. I've been fairly worried but don't believe I do, but I was hoping to get some expert advice on my particular situation

Hi, since your sexually active you should have a herpes test to confirm your status as well for the protection of others. Herpes sores are often described as blister or razor type cuts but many are so small that a person doesnot realize they are having and outbreak but one thing is that they are not white puss filled. Only testing would confirm your status but your pimple is most likely a pimple.

Also I have not had any pain urinating and the bump only had redness after it went away, it wasn't popped it just went down and faded, the red spot went away a few days after completely going away
