Herpes or not?

Herpes1/2 test results

So this is my story...
I got my annual pap smere done on December 2 2015
I didn't think anything wrong with myself and my body because everything look and felt normal.
But my obgyn visually diagnosed me with BV so she gave me metrodazle gel.
I took a trip to to the lake and when i used the toilet, I noticed a brown discharge that came out but I thought it was because my period was ending so I thought nothing of it but in reality I thought it was weird because my period ended two days before it happened but I didn't want to worry.
A week after my pap smere I noticed a small flesh like bump on my left labia minora. It didn't look like nothing like herpes and it didn't feel like herpes I just had the bump! I tried squeezing it out but nothing came out and there was no head!!! I didn't go to the doctor right away because I wanted to see if there were more bumps coming out like typical herpes outbreaks. But I did noticed blood came out when I cleaned myself and it stung when I peed! This only happened once and I checked to see if it was starting to look like a ulcer but nothing! It was the same little bump but just smaller! So I started calling herpes hotlines and everything but I realized I had to go back on December 22 to my obgyn for my pap results. So that's when I started taking the metro gel on December 20. The day I went back in, they told me I had an abnormal pap! Which I thought was weird and I asked why. They said maybe it's hpv or aomething else ? I was like what is that something else !!!! I was mad! So the doctor said it maybe because I was about to have my period, which I did get  3 days after my pap. And I was confused and crying and asked them if I had an std and they said no I came back clean. But little did I know I was not tested for herpes. on Christmas Eve  I started to feel dizzy and tired.

I started getting sharp stinging pain all over my vulva and I kept checking if I had more bumps! That whole week I experience burning symtpoms and sharp vulva pain with not bumps! I thought it was the gel but I had stop taking it on the 5th day couldn't complete the 7th day!  I took a trip up north California and I couldn't talk to anyone about these symtpoms! Burning, if not the sharp pain would come back and My vagina felt raw and another wierd symtpoms was that I would get stoning on my eye!!! Like if needles were poking it!   It's something I never felt before! Then when I came back home, I went the the ER because my vagina was HOT! All they told me was that it looked normal! And I was confused maybe it is something else

Later on that week I schedule an appointment with another obgyn and she checked me and I told her what I have experienced and she looked confused and said she doesn't know if it is herpes or not because I don't have a visible lesion...
And two weeks later of anxiety and depression my results came back to

HSV1 IGG 8.0
HSV2 IGG 1.1

I was crying my eyes out !!! I couldn't think straight
I quit my job and I have not been going out ever since these result!
All my obgyn told me was you're positive and there's nothing you can do about it
. Here is a acyclovir perceptions !

It's January 28 and I still get mild stinging like symtpoms! No bumps nothing no outbreaks!
And I get these stinging like symptoms all over my body! From my toes to my fingers to my lips my cheeks sometimes my eyes, my vagina, and my back!

I want to do the western blot because I still don't believe I have herpes! I never ever had a cold sore in my mouth!! I don't even know if I have it in my mouth or genitals ! I AM CONFUSED !
My boyfriend got tested and he came back negative on both!

So if someone can help me !
Or give me your personal experience that would be great!
That would make me feel better inside

I think we can remove the confusion.

Are you sure the STD check included herpes? Unless you explicitly asked for it, then it may not have happened. Further, the wrong test is often applied. If it was IgM or PCR on blood then the result is not credible for example. Sometimes HSV1 is not tested for, only HSV2.

Why did you need to test if only in a monogamous relationship with your partner?

I'm just confused because earlier this year I went out of the states and I came back and got an std full check including herpes and I came back negative!!! I am confused and sad because I was not sexually active with anyone else but my BF and not to mention he came back negative on all his tests

I think the best way to help out is to reel of some observations.

An abnormal pap cannot be used to diagnose herpes (it can indicate certain HPV issues but not herpes).

You are positive for HSV1 just like over 70% of the population. Almost certainly you were infected in your youth before living memory. About half of people carrying HSV1 never have oral outbreaks.

The HSV2 result is just too low to be even thinking that you have this virus.

Your genital symptoms do not align to herpes; no indication at all. Your all over body issues are certainly not related to herpes.

A Westernblot can help here. There's a 95% plus chance though that it will confirm HSV1 positive, HSV2 negative.

I'm sorry about your job and the way you are handling with. You need to believe me that even if you had genital herpes (which I'm confident you do not) it need not impact your life to the degree that your mind has allowed it to.

In conclusion:
- you have an asymptomatic oral HSV1 infection, a virus carried by 70-90% of the population depending on where you are from
- you do not have genital herpes

I said that your hsv1 is mostly likley oral from childhood as having a single flesh bump is not suggestive of genital herpes.
