since most male herpes is on the shaft, the risk you contracted hsv2 with a condom would be close to zero.
I probably caught it from protected intercourse?
Fleetwood does not think you caught hsv2 but is saying the opposite. Those at risk for contracting herpes are in long term mono relationships where one partner is infected. if she did not have any lip sore at the time, the odds you caught hsv2 genital from the oral is as close to zero as possible as shedding rarely occurs and her having hsv2 oral is rare in itself.
So you think I caught HSV 2. Are you very aware of herpes. Or heard of any cases like this
Not sure how that would be possible given the exposure described. It is an exceptionally rare occurrence particularly for someone with HSV1 already.
So I got HSV 2 in my lips maybe
You get a cold sore where you are infected, not elsewhere.
Well it says in Internet that you get cold sore. Unless it's wrong
Being infected in one location has no impact on the behavior of herpes in another.
I do not know who says that, the virus does not live off the skin in normal, everyday environments.
They say the virus lives outside for a while
I have a feeling it's HSV 2 cause of my cold sore
Does not work that way.
Test in 12 weeks if you have concerns, I'm confident it will be negative for HSV2.
Maybe I got HSV 2 and my symptom is a cold sore..
You would only experience symptoms at the site of entry. HSV2 cannot enter the penis as you used a condom. Most likely you would get lesions in the pubic area around the penis.
I have now lesions on my penus. Maybe I am experiencing mild symptoms. And had one day of burning sensation of penus
Please keep all comments in one post so we can keep track of things.
It appears you have oral HSV1. As such, you are essentially immune from being infected with HSV1 genitally from oral sex. This can be discounted.
HSV2 is the only practical issue. This would result in an outbreak of lesions within a few days of infection, although it could be very mild. General tingling feelings are not related to herpes.
I'd suggest there are no issues regarding genital herpes here.
