Herpes or something else?

As like many others here, I've been searching the net for my several vaginal bumps and have become scared I have an STI. I have several very tiny flesh-colored bumps around my vagina region and down, but NONE on my actual genitals. They are not painful or itchy at all. I've had them since about late Feb-early March. I've had three larger ones that are more zit-like in size, one going away over night and the other two have gradually gotten smaller. My boyfriend and I have used condoms except for twice in July (unprotected), but he pulled out. Any other time without condoms I've been on the pill. Previous to him the last time I'd had unprotected sex (pulling out) was in Feb 2010. In addition to these several tiny dots I've had increased vaginal discharge throughout the day (this came before the dots appeared). It is clear and has no scent. In Sept 2010 I had a normal pap smear and a test that was negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Please help set my mind at ease! Could these probably be sebaceous cysts?

you need to be seen and have a proper exam done.

have you and your partner both had full std testing, including herpes testing prior to being intimate together?

In Sept 2010 I had a normal pap smear and also tested negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia. He has never had any issues that he's mentioned. The bumps are decreasing and going away altogether and have not become scabby at all as I've read herpes do, but I'm still nervous.

So it sounds like at this point you should both consider herpes testing so then you'll know your herpes status. Request an IgG type specific blood test.

Also, when you have symptoms, it makes sense to be seen as grace said. The doctor can test to see what's going on with a swab for yeast, bacteria and herpes.

a pap test isn't std testing.  you need to cover your bases properly with blood and urine testing for std's.  odds are your partner hasn't been properly tested either. certainly discuss this, cover all the bases and go from there so that in the future when you have symptoms, you know if you have to think herpes or any other std as a possibility or not.

herpes lesions do not scab on the genital area like a scab on the knee does either.  just a fyi.
