Herpes own transmission through a partner (mouth to mouth to penis). Possible?

Hello,

I have herpes on the mouth (was never fully diagnosed, but I have all the symptoms (blisters, itchiness, pain) of it from time to time.

I have some episodes during year.

Recently I was with my girlfriend for a full week (i am travelling for a year now and we meet from time to time).

All good for first five days.

Sixth day I had a "paper cut" inside my lower lip. I put a natural remedy sangre de drago and it healed quickly.

So, tired of being careful, I let her perform oral sex to me after kissing on the lips.

After we separated, i got "paranoid" and was afraid of having it transmitted to genitals.

On the 7th day i saw some pimps on the top of my penis head (day before I masturbated three times after a night out and I was in a dirty sheet hostel in Bolivia). I got scared but it passed.

After some time in another area of the genitals i had like a red part close to base of head of penis, but when I showered in night next day it was gone.

This redness came back from time to time and aftershower it wss gone after a while.

I went pharmacy they told me keep it clean and dry.

Symptoms were practically gone (except some small redness in some parts some times) and the ones I saw maybe always there but now i am more focused on that part of the body.

My higiens is not he best while travelling (and normally did not dry the penile head) and i was all this time with a salmonela infection and took a lot of antibiotics.

Started shower everyday and drying the penile head and is gone. Yesterday just put some canesten to help and now is normal.

Is there a possible transmission?

Are these symptoms of genital herpes?

Thanks!!!!!

This surely does not aound like hsv. To answer your question. I will say you have better odds of being struck by lightning. If you do have oral hsv then the odds of getting it genitally are incredibly low. The body builds defenses that offer great protection. Even so the encounter in which you describe is really a no risk event anyway. I wouldn't be concerned at all.

Thank you very much for your help.

I just found it an odd coincidence to have these symptoms I described just after that encounter.

Just a few more questions.

Can a paper cut in the lip be herpes and transmit it to others?

My girlfriend did not have herpes before, and had no symptoms at all after that encounter. We kissed and i performed oral sex on her.

I am circumcised. Does that have any influence on probability of getting infected?

I have been showering everyday and no more signs like I described before.

I feel calmer now, but I want to ask if you consider I was careless, and to confirm that I probably should not take these kinds of risks.

Thanks again.
