Herpes pains and nausea
Ive asked your advice before and find it to be extremely helpful. First can herpes cause nausea with stomach and back cramps? I know my anxiety is high! Secondly how does the burning and tingling work? I've had vaginal pain throughout my entire vagina for months now, when it first started it hurt inside and out, sometimes it's a burn, sore feeling. It has felt as if icy hot was on it, And more recently it hasn't been all day and had been more of an ache sometimes a burn. My leg and arm muscles (both left and right) have been tired and very sore. Been tested for other std's. And bacteria as well. Positive for hpv. very worried it could be herpes, no blister or sores. But have read that people can have no sores ever. Please any advice would be so appreciated. Thank you so much for all the advice you have given everyone, I know we've come here desperate for answers.. thank you.
We don't rely on it AT ALL!! it should never be used on an adult for hsv testing. Some labs have stopped using it and even the cdc is against it.

Feelingundone reading back... does that mean that if the burning is in the whole vaginal area it's not a "herpes burn", that when it is related to herpes it's in the spot where the blisters/sores show up? Or because of urine passing over an actual sore? Sorry to be such a bother!! Thanks again!!!

I had a type 1/2 IGM combo test done in the ER and it was 1.19 what are the chances I have herpes 2?? I know you experts don't rely much on the IGM test, but I am a little concerned..

I seriously don't suspect hsv is the cause. You've had the issue to long to be hsv. It simply doesn't act like this and linger for tbis kind of time. You've had no obvious lesions or paper cut lesions so herpes is just not realistic in your case. I sure hope you find relief and im glad it's subsiding.

Herpes is not known to cause stomach issues. Herpes without lesions is almost always without symptoms at all. That's why there are many people who have no idea they have it. Burning or tingling in a specific spot can be a sign of a pending outbreak. This is the virus making it's way along the nerve path back to the surface.

Feelingundone.. that about the symptoms and no sores makes better sense to me. Thank you! Also the pain is not in a specific spot it has been the whole pelvic area to the crease of the thighs, vaginal opening and sometimes to the anus. And has been everyday/ almost all day since early August. Just this week it has subsided tremendously and isn't there all day anymore. In these three months there have been no sores or blisters.
Also is the icy hot feeling anything associated with herpes?
