Herpes; please help..

Well, I am still young, but a few days ago I started developing bumps in the genital area. I didn't think much of it, until one popped, yesterday. My doctor said it was more than likely genital herpes and took the tests, but I will not know for a few more days. I'm in so much pain that i'm bawling everytime I try to pee. It got so bad that I just didn't all day. How do I make the pain go away?
I told my boyfriend, who has been my only partner. He's getting tested as soon as possible. He started crying knowing he was the only possible way I got it. I really don't think I have the strength to get through all of this. It's just way too hard, and way too painful..
How often do you get the outbreak? Does it always hurt this bad?
