Herpes questions...

Hey everyone I was just wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm having some itchyness in my pubic area there are 3 different spots on the area that have red and itchy spots but all three areas are apart from each other. So my question is:

Is it possible to have a herpes outbreak in 3 different areas like this?

It's possible but if lesions do not appear within a few days then I would bet it's something else. Fungal or a reaction to some irritant.

Update:

So I have just came back from the urologist because of penile pain, perineal pain, fatigue, penile tip pain, burning urination, thigh pain etc. it had been going on for awhile and I was just diagnosed with prostatitis. Now I know herpes can be misdiagnosed as prostatitis. My question(s) are:

1. If these symptoms have been going on for this long (2-2 1/2 months) then it's not a herpes outbreak right?

And

2. If I have all these symptoms (some of the above symptoms are the same for prostatitis and herpes) and I HAVE NOT had a classic herpes lesion or a herpes "papercut" could this still somehow be herpes?

Somebody help me on with this I would greatly appreciate it!!

Okay thanks for the reply. I also have the same type of thing on my penile shaft. It's been there for like a day or so. What are your thoughts about that?
