you had the wrong testing done - it was non-type specific testing done.
that said, odds are you would've had very obvious symptoms had you contracted hsv1 genitally from receiving oral. really no reason for more testing.

if I could read I'd see you were only tested for hsv2 - duh!
why weren't you tested for hsv1 too? hsv1 was your risk from receiving oral.
if you had contracted hsv1 from receiving oral sex, odds are you would've had very obvious and painful lesions within a few days to 3 weeks of being infected.
were you tested for hsv1, hsv2 or both?
does your gf have hsv1, hsv2 or both?
