Herpes sore w/ no pain.

Hey ya'll.

So I'm a gay male and I developed a sore on the glans (glands) of my penis. It was one sore that looked like herpes but there was no pain whatsoever. I have been getting cold sores about once a year every since I was 7 and I know those are painful. I thought it might be syphilis so I got tested but the tests came back negative. Has anyone else ever had genital herpes that isn't painful? Or could this possibly be another std or maybe just a skin condition. THanks for your help.

odds are this isn't herpes since it isn't itchy or painful but you still need tested for it anyways.

did you get tested for  herpes yeT? the rates of hsv2 infection in gay males can be as high as 60% so it's well worth periodic testing to keep an eye on your status.
