Herpes test at 7 weeks

Herpes test at 7 weeks

I recently had a STD test for all the posible STDs one can test for including a type specific blood test for herpes. I had protected/unproted for about a mimute. My questions is how possible is it that i recived a false negitive test for herpes i have never had a painful blister. Only thing i question would be a zit on the side of my shaft that the doctor diaganosed was a zit and it was not painful at all either.

So my question are:
1) are tests reliable at 7 weeks?
2) Does this sound like it could posibly be herpes?

odds are if it didn't hurt you, it wasn't due to herpes.

if you really need peace of mind, repeat the herpes igg blood testing at 3 or 4 months post encounter.

Like i said the zit was not painful and it did pop some thick white puss very little there is a small bump that has been there since it popped about 12 weeks ago. The pimple/zit was looked at by a NFP who said it did not look like herpes but a pimple. So my final question is:

What are the chances a single painless pimple that looked and acted like pimple where a scar like bump still remains that tested negitive to herpes at 7 weeks is herpes?

How accurate are herpes test at 7 weeks i have heard from 60% to 80%?

Should i be concerned?

Thank you
