Herpes test confusion.

Oct of 2016 I had a brief exposure to someone who may have had herpes. I started to have symptoms in November which I was told was all bv and yeast related not herpes since no sores were present. December 21 I had taken the herpes select test and came back negative at 10 weeks. Then I had taken another test 90 days 1 day before 13 weeks for the herpes igg ab test which came back negative at 0.07 and my igm test came back negative as well. Should I dem these results as negative and move on or should I take the rest one more time. Secondly what is the difference between herpes select igg test and the herpes ab igg test?

Hi, yes you  should move on as your surely negative. They are the same test looking for antibodies but the select looks specificlly for hsv1 and hsv2 the herpes ab may be a combination test. but either way your negative.
