Herpes test negative after 6 months

Let me start from beginnng.my ex had hsv1.and we had sex couple times unprotected.she assumed that she didn’t have outbreaks.i had my herpes test after 6 months and all was negative.is that conclusive? And also I did blood work.my tsh level was higher than normal.my thyroid is high.is that related herpes? Some people told me that thyroid is related to herpes1. I mean I just wanna make sure here.so my question is 6 months test is conclusive for herpes type 1 and 2?and thyroid tsh level is higher is that related to herpes? I wanna make sure all is fine.i only had urination problems after sec and some redness on penis.but no outbreak nothing.thanks

I will never suggest unprotected sex with a new partner. Why go through this again? Think of it as protecting yourself as well

Genital hsv1 has few outbreaks and sheds very little. It isn't very potent when it does. It is very rare to contract hsv1 through intercourse.

I think she has Genital hsv1.so you say it’s very small chance to get it from intercourse.we had couple times unprotected only.maybe 2 times only.

Believe your tests and your other elevated levels are not herpes related. If she had hsv1 orally they you had a very small risk from oral sex. If she had hsv1 genital then your risk was as close to zero as it gets. Ghsv1 is very rarely ever contracted through intercourse as it sheds so little. All in all move on without concern
