Herpes testing methods...which one is most accurate?

I have seen many people on these forums talk about western blots, iGG tests, and physical examinations. I also know of the PCR test and viral culture.  Which of these methods is the most accurate and effective at locating herpes?  I know the physical exam is not the most accurate, is the iGG test or western blot more accurate than the PCR test??
