Herpes type 1 or type 2?

Hello, i performed oral sex on someone last Wednesday, he was apparently sane since his penis looked healthy. Approximately two hours after that i got a cold sore on my lip and a week later i started getting more sores around my mouth; i got told it was herpes but they couldn't specify if it was type 1 or type 2. My mom told me i suffered from herpes when i was a little kid. I've been having a lot of anxiety during the past days (since that Wednesday to be more exact... since that Wednesday when i performed oral; i haven't been getting enough sleep and i'm constantly worried all the time; i've been having panic attacks and even gastrointestinal problems. Please do help me on finding out if i've got herpes type one or type two and if this is in any way related to the ******* because from what i understand; herpes caught from oral sex won't be showing symptoms until 2 days after the act, not two hours. Thank you!

You have herpes simplex virus (cold sores) and it has nothing at all to do with your sexual activity.
