Herpes with no pain, no hitching...

Hi!
So, I'm 33 years old, and since 3 years now I have herpes 1 and 2. In the first week after  I met my ex girlfriend, after having sex i got a little cut on my sex. a couple of days after I got little blisters coming out!!! I ask her if she was sure that she was clean and bla bla bla, she told me yes. I wasn't very worry at the begining.( 2009)
Summer 2011, After I talked with a friend herbalist, I decided to do a blood test and the result was herpes 1 and 2.....My Dr didn't told me much.
Before that I doesn't know what was herpes, now I know.
At the begining of 2012 I had out break almost every 2 weeks, so I went back to see the Dr and ask him to give me a Valtrex prescription.
So since February 2012 I toke Valtrex, and I had only 2 out break, I guess I had them cause I stoped to take it for 2 or 3 days... ( I think it is why...)
During that time frame I had regular sex with 2 different person, I talk to them and none of them have been inffected.
of course I never had sex during an out break.
Now since 6 month I'm in relation with someone new who know about my situation. We don't use condom all the time. I toke Valtrex and also medicinal herbs and tincture, and I ask her to take some too, to boost her immune system at the maximum.
I would like to know why I don't have any pain or hitching? Do herpes infection have different level?
I'm doing herbalist study and try to find more good information about this virus. and how to deal with it...
also if I have herpes 1 why I have not any blister in my mouth or my lips?
Sorry for my English, its not my first language.
Thank you for your comments and your help.

Sincerely.

J.

acyclovir is the herpes antiviral that is cheaper, not valtrex.

suppressive therapy would be 400mg twice a day.

Hi!
So I just called walmart and ask them how much they sell Valtrex generic.
She told me $305... Can you tell me how come you got them for $20 per month? My Dr prescription its for 500mg, 2 per day. 60 per month.
Can you please give me more information? I don't have insurance but my Dr can refile my prescription.
Thank you so much.

Also I would like to know what my partner and me can do if we want to have a child ? How are the risk that the child can be infected? Until she is not infected, nothing can happen to the future child?
I'm very scare about it...

without insurance you can get generic acyclovir for under $20/month at walmart with a prescription.

no, your partner taking acyclovir isn't going to lower their risk. you need to be taking it to reduce shedding.

Hi,
What is a suppressive therapy ? I actually take acyclovir since February 2012. Cheaper ... I'm not sure, in NYC its $260 the bottle of 60 caps, with no assurance and $10 with assurance. On the beginning my Dr. told me to take it twice a day and since i don't have any more an health assurance, I take once a day. I was able to got a 3 month prescription before it stop.
Since I toke once a day, ( May 2012) I had 2 outbreaks, 1 in August and the other one last week.
A good friend of mine is herbalist, so her help doesn't cost me money.

Can I get hsv2 igg anytime ? I will try to get an active lesion swabbed at my next outbreak.
Do you think if my partner take acyclovir too, without having hsv, it can reduce more the risk of transmission ?

Thank you so much!

Sincerely

Julien

probably daily suppressive therapy with acyclovir is cheaper than working with an herbalist plus it's been shown to work effectively and reduces the risk of transmission to a partner.

call and get your hsv2 igg results and post them here so I can better help you with what step to take next. you can get an active lesion swabbed for low cost at your local health department too. just be sure to get it done within 48 hours of the appearance of symptoms.

Thank you for your answer.
Yes I'm living in the US, Hsv2 was my welcome present when I arrived to NYC...
No I didn't recall the results. I'm gonna wait for it. I tryed to show it to my Dr . but when I went to his office I was not able to get a appointment before 2 or 3 weeks, so..... In my case, when I got an outbreak its for almost 1 week, 10 days before everything get back to normal.
I'm working on a 3 month detox project, with a professional herbalist. We never know... Since I don't have health assurance anymore, I'm gonna do what I can. Thank you for you help .

Sincerely

Julien

do you recall the results of your herpes igg blood test? since you aren't in the US, I"m limited in how I can help you with it but probably best to confirm that indeed that you are infected with hsv2. you can also get a lesion culture done the next time you have genital symptoms too.

why no obvious cold sores since you also have hsv1? Most people who have hsv1 don't get obvious cold sores.

Herpes is a very variable disease. Some get real horrible painful debilitating outbreaks and others get nothing. I am not sure anyone really knows why everyone is different but it is what it is. The itching and blisters and all the fun stuff associated with herpes are classic signs of it. Not everyone gets the classic signs and some get some of them and other gets others or none. There is no answer for your question other than it is what it is. Sorry for my perfect English :)
