About a month ago i started dating this guy we haven't had sex at all not even oral. But we do kiss i haven't french kissed him its usually just a peck on the lips. Today i noticed a small bump right on my top lip in the middle it blends in with the skin on my lip but im freaking out a couple of times that we kissed his lips were a little wet im very worried could this be herpes? im really worried. plz help.

If you have tested for Herpes and returned a negative result then your problems are not Herpes related you need to go back to your Doctor for further evaluation of the problems you are experiencing ..... no one here can diagnose this we are not Doctors and we cannot see what you describe whereas your Doctor can ....
Please go to your Doctor and don't try to self diagnose it doesn't work you will only end up stressing yourself over something the Doctor may be able to sort out very quickly for you .....

Let me start over...i havent had no type of sex since my first sexual encounter and like i said i got tested six months after and was negative for herpes 1 & 2. At the time i got my test i had 3 bumps down there they looked sort of greenish/yellowish i dont know it was weird so my doctor immediately said it looked like herpes so i got tested and was negative asked the doctor if she was sure and she said yes i saw the results and i could have sworn i  had been tested for igm and igg that was a year and a half ago...a few days ago i got a boil down there at the time i didnt know it wasnt a good idea to bust it but i did and yellow pus came out and therez a scar...its black...everytime i get one of these which isn't often they scar which never goes away i still have the last one i got a long time ago...now im worried that maybe i got a false negative...fast forward i start dating this new guy and we kissed thats it...i got bumps in my mouth...the one bump i mentioned went away no scab no scar nothing...but back to these bumps they don't hurt not even when i touch them i tryed pinching one of them to see if it would bust or something anyways they don't hurt at all and i have no scabs or anything i don't understand am i just being paranoid...now im having problems with my eyes they are irritated a tiny itchy from time to time which isnt often it feels like something is in my eyes ive looked and i dont see any bumps on or around my eyes occasionally they will go blurry and then i blink and its gone...im afraid i might lose my sight or something...therez pain in the back of my head i dont know if thats because of my eyes or not....i always get what i think is a boil in the same spot and i never get more than one...back when i had those three bumps i touched them and they didnt hurt they were tiny by the way and they never scabbed no sores whatsoever....im really confused anybody have any ideas...also i have no bumps on my lips at all and my lips and face are not swollen...any advice on would be helpful.

i know a lot of people, women anyway, that kiss on the lips to say hello... that can transmit it.  Oral HSV-1 is really not something you should sleep over, cause most people have it or will get it.

...also, it could just be a pimple.

Hi Daisy,

You contradicting what Grace and the infectious disease specialists say on here with regard to oral HSV 1 transmission. They actually have said a kiss on the cheek (friendly kiss as you put it) will not lead to contracting HSV-1 or least highly unlikely even if that person has active lesion.

However, she's talking about a kiss on the mouth which is a little friendlier. I don't kiss my parents or friends on the mouth nor do most people on here I'm sure. So yeah there's a chance, but isn't it low if he doesn't have an active cold sore/feverblister/herpetic lesion??!!

So this guy is the only person you've ever kissed  ??? and you haven't  kissed friends, family etc ,,,,, you don't have to french kiss to contract oral herpes it can be contracted from a simple everyday friendly kiss ..... so before blaming one person think about the number of people you have kissed in your lifetime even in the smallest way there is nothing to say he is responsible for this bump on your lip.
80% of the population have HSV1 so it's likely to be in your future anyway unless you plan on not kissing again in your life .....
