When i went tthe Dr. the first time, they never done blood test. the Dr. looked at my chin and new what it was..... and no, i have not been back to the Dr. on the other symptoms. Do you think that maybe i could've spreaded it? Thanks, christy
I've read it normally takes around 3 months before it shows up. Can it take yrs to show. Maybe it's somthing i had yrs before, and just never showed until now. I had a boss at work that told me he had it ever since he was very young....said his mom kissed him, and that's how he got it. Said that one night he must've fell asleep with his mouth on his shoulder, cause now he has it in that spot. My other boss had a son that had it in his eye. Dr. told him that it was possible that he had touched a door knob. Now i asked my Dr. if that's how i could've gotten that on my chin, and he kinda laughed, and said no.
Me and my ex husband wasn't together very long....like 1 yr and 8 months. He now is remarried and they have a child together. When the child was 2, i noticed her eye being real red, and he told me that she had herpes in her eye. Thought that was kinda strang as i'm wondering if he had it all along. Sometimes it don't show up, and can still get it.
I'm just wondering as far as the place on my tail bone. I have read that one would need to touch somthing else and it would need to be rubbed into the skin to catch it.
If it's on the tail bone, did i get that from sexual intercourse? Just seems that would be a hard place to get to.
I went to the Dr. and they told me that it was highly likely that i did spread it down their.
It was most likely from touching one place and it rubbing, since it was in the tail crack.
I thought so since it is spread from kissing. That would be touching from one to another. Anyway, i'm sure you won't read and comment back, but just thought i'ld let you know. Thanks again, christy
As is discussed in our read before posting post on this forum -this is an all volunteer forum. We don't get paid to be here and we try to get to as many posts as we can but it doesn't always happen and we don't all get a chance to get here everyday. If you look thru the last couple of days posts you'll see that the majority of them have not gotten answered, it's not just you.
did your provider do any testing on your symptoms?
It's incredibly unlikely that you transmitted oral herpes to your genital area on your own. Your provider gave very wrong info when they told you that.
No, you can't get herpes from touching a door knob either. You aren't going to get it from surfaces.
did your current husband get tested for herpes too with the igg blood tests?
have you been back to be seen with your new genital symptoms?
