Herpes?
I have been going steady with my boyfriend for about 3 month. I've given him oral sex only three times.
I have never had any sort of herpes outbreak or anything of the sort.
But after about 22 days of my last oral sex experience, I have started to have the following symptoms:
- fever
- nausea
- headache
- 2 white bump(ish)s on my inner vagina --- these don't look puss-y at all and don't look like I could poke them and anything could come out. One is smaller, circlish and the other is more of a long oval.
- these bumps don't itch at all, but they do burn a significant amoung
- sore throat, difficulty swallowing
I've had the fever, nausea, headache, and sore throat for about 4 days now and the sores for only a day
Do you think this is herpes?
I can't imagine that my boyfriend has it, seeing as he's only had one long-term girlfriend and i've only had one long-term boyfriend and one other sexual partner this past summer. But again, never any herpes outbreaks.

i recommend going elsewhere for a 2nd opinion then if you still have symptoms. if you can be seen promptly by a dermatologist, that is probably the best next option.
many non-std things can cause us issues in our genital area. did they offer any idea of what they think is going on for you?
a blood test and a swab culture

i went to the doctor and ALL my tests came back negative --- is there still a chance I may have the virus?
it means you need to go and get checked out and get a better idea of what is going on.
well if he's never performed oral on you then whatever is going on, is not a std from him. At this point go and be seen and get a proper work up done to find out what is going on and go from there.
you need to be seen promptly for a proper work up and testing to try to figure out what is going on.
