Herpes?

I have had this sore on my penis and it is size of a hair follicule or bump and can almost be mistaken.

When I touch it, it hurts and when I picked it originally, it turned in to a blister and was bleeding and looked like an ulcer with a dimple in the middle.   Being a guy i was trying to figure out what this was when I was in the bathroom, and accidently after from picking it and the sore was open touched my mouth 5 mins later.

About a week or so after I have been having throat irritations and problems.   The sore kind of healed up on my genitals, so when I went to get checked from the doctor I had nothing to show them.  She just insisted that it was nothing and gave me a perscription for this throat wash stuff to help clear my throat.  I have used the whole bottle up and my throat has not really gotten better.  It feels like it burns, it dosent hurt, but I can feel like there is something in my throat.  I am not sure what to do.   Any suggestions on what it could be?

I was seeing this girl two weeks before this happend, and she does have Herpes 1, but apparently she did not have any out breaks, or none that I could see.  I was very stupid and used a condom, but the condom broke during part of it.  I did get checked for everything else from the doctor and everything was okay!  But this throat thing is bugging me.. I have been using salt and water, vinager and water, alot of different herbs and vitamins, and even garlic to try help get rid of this irritiation or whatever the problem is.   It seems to help abit when I use Tylenol and the garlic helped abit.  Any help or Ideas would be greatly appreciated?

The the thing is that the bump was definitely a sore, with like a small lesion around it type of thing... but it dident like sting sting and it dident have liquid in it.  But it did bleed after picking and was a sore.  HPV is more of genital warts and they do not typically bleed and usually stay there... And from looking at pics it dosent look like warts or anything... It seems to come and go but it can be easily be mistaken as an ingrown hair follicule.

so see a different provider if your regular provider isn't giving you the care you need.  you can ask for a referral to an ENT too if you need a referral to see one with your insurance.

Thank you for the response.

Yeah I am very curious, I still have irritations in my throat and it seems to change day to day .

Some days it will be okay, and others my throat will feel terrible!

There is no consistency...  I am just wondering though, do Herpes blisters bleed at all?

I dont even really want to go back to my family doctor, she dosent take me serious, and wont even give me a test for herpes, because she believes there are to many herpes viruses out there, and it would not really prove anything.

The blister bump on my penis was bleeding and it looked like an ident sore with a hole in the middle type of thing. If that blister on my penis was not herpes, I am not as worried as much.  I touched my lip after I touched that open sore on my penis.

I just want this irritation in my throat to go away it has been like 3 months irritations..

It started where I could taste blood in my mouth from my throat and felt like a bump/sore.  Then it seemed to get better at times, then again, more irritations a week later, and it wouldent burn terribly, but there was abit of burning sensation sometimes.

I am thinking that if it was herpes it would clear up in my throat and I would not have these problems occuring regularly.  And at the same time i would not be tasting blood in my mouth from my throat at the beginning.  But at the same time, its just weird how this started happening after I touched the sore on my penis.

Any other suggestions, of other solutions that may help this irritiation or problem of whatever it is to go away?

So far I have tried salt water, vinager, garlic, I have been taking alot vitamins as well, mouth wash and then stuff the docter gave.

as we discussed in your previous post on this, it doesn't really sound like herpes going on.

your throat isn't related to herpes either. it wouldn't last this long. return to be seen because it's at least a month now since it started correct?  you should've returned for further work up if things didn't improve in a week after you were originally seen to be honest.

you can get a type specific herpes igg blood test in february to see what your status is from your last encounter. nothing else you can do unless you get a return of new symptoms to be seen again for.

it's most helpful when you just keep adding to your original post - thanks for your future cooperation with this . you can just  keep adding to this one now.

Thanks for the response.  I have seen a doctor, but they dident really help too much, they did give me this stuff to take for my throat but it hasent helped to much.

It does how ever seem to be getting better, in my throat I could taste blood and it was just an irritation, felt like there was something in your throat.

On my genital area the sore was almost identical to an ingrown hair follicule, so it would be very hard to notice unless you really looked.  It only hurt when you actually touched it, and when i picked it, it did bleed, I cant remember if there was any puss, there might have been.  But after I picked it, it looked like a boil a sore with a dimple in the middle and it did bleed after I picked it 100%.

It has seem to gone away now... Any general thoughts?

Be seen by your provider for a proper work up.  Given the throat issue you may want to see a ENT specialist.
