Herpes?

Ok so I am an idiot and had unprotected sex 6 days ago.. Stupid yes I know, big mistake..

Within less than a day I started feeling a burning type sensation in my inner thigh an groin area.. Not noticing any increased itching, except maybe a little that was mental as I started to worry a lot..

6 days same thing.. Just this burning sensation, although I think my testicles maybe a little more tender..

Reading a lot of articles, I am afraid it is herpes.. But have not seen any lesions or sores, nor have I gotten a fever (just a lot of stress)

I plan on going in for a screening this week ASAP but I also read the tests would be inconclusive this soon perhaps without an open sore..

Any thoughts or ideas? Anyone have similar symptoms and a diagnosis? Could it be a bacterial infection?

I messed up to a couple weeks ago and in the following days had a burning urination,me and the partner ended up dating there after, and after a week of what happened the first time,she had sores all over,and she'd just shaved and so they looked like skin irritation sores from bacteria.

Her tests done immediately those appeared returned last night and they were positive for herpes. I've seen a doctor this last Thursday and according to him,it appeared like i have symptoms of chlamydia and or gonorrhea despite me telling them what went on with my partner.

They say all i have to do is wait and see it i out break..most articles say 90% of people break out in 2 weeks and almost 100% in the third week.However, some people break out after 3months depending on a lot of factors..stress, immune system, other diseases and alike..

Her (the gf) doctor told her that i might have gotten off lucky if we had unprotected sex before she started shedding or before the blisters and sore appeared.

So don't feel alone,there are countless people in the same place as you and i are right now..

Follow up ? Did you have any other symptoms besides burning urination?

And did you test positive for anything? Seems odd that you would both get symptoms and that she would be the only one to have herpes, no? Thanks again.

I had a fever for a few days but in the mix was strep-throat! so that might have caused the fever too. More profoundly, i had a colorless discharge and a bump underneath the shaft of my penis (inside the skin..looks like a worm inside my shaft skin) ; no itchiness, redness or blisters/sores anywhere.

She confirmed she had herpes because she started her testing before me,cause her out break was quite severe for a first time occurrence. I just took gonorrhea and chlamydia tests right now,results come back next week, so when those are ruled out then i'll be routing to do herpes Igg blood one.

Sometimes the person doesn't shed as much virus and you might not catch it,just like her doctor told her i might not have caught it if we had sex at the time when she wasn't broke out yet...i might have been lucky that way but some other resources point to the fact that whether someone has broken out or not,when a person has penetrative oral or vaginal sex with an uninfected person, they can still pass on the virus! That's what's scarring me lots :(
Cause by the time me and my gf had sex,she wasn't broken out yet, when she started breaking out,we stopped and she became so sore :(
And we thought she was just getting irritated from bacteria..then the results turned out to be what they became. Now am scared ********!

I wouldn't want you or anyone to be in this situation, the anxiety levels are crazy and i can't do anything except wait for at least 3 months and see what comes out.
