Herpes

This is my 10 days of unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex with a sex worker (I didn't see any blister or cold sores on her).  I was really worry about getting Herpes 1 and 2 afterward.  This morning (7am) I saw a little bump on the bottom right side of my mouth (just below my lip) now it's 8pm and it looks like a mosquito bite but I know it's not since I don't see a sting mark or it doesn't itch at all.  Now I am starting to see about 4 bumps on my right cheek also.  I don't feel any burning sensation or anything on these bumps.

Do you think these bumps are herpes's cold sores?  I have a 5 months old baby and I don't want to get him infected....PLease HELP!

I don't think it is HIV, no.  Probably a viral infection, statistically.

Last question for you Terri.

Day 14, I do feel weak like I am coming down with the flu or a cold for the past 3 days.  I don't have a fever...my body temperature is normal but I do feel like I have a chill.  Today is day 14 and I have a really sore throat.  From what I have been researching on the net...this looks like HIV symptoms.  Do you think it is or just a viral infection?

Nothing you've described sounds herpetic to me.

I would only recommend testing if it would help put your mind at rest.

It has been 2 weeks to the day that I have unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex.

The only symptoms that I have are:

1.  Feeling weak and kind of warm but no fever.  My body temp is normal.  I felt like I was coming down with a cold or the flu on the 2nd day.

2.  Day 14, I notice like a few small black spots on my testicles.  They don't burn or itch.

Do you think I need to take the Herpes and HIV tests?  If so, what test do I need to take?

Thanks again for your help Terri.

First, the things around your mouth would not be related to the sexual contact because you didn't kiss her and you did not give her oral sex.

General sick feelings can occur with herpes infection (new), but they are most often accompanied by genital symptoms, not just symptoms like those you are having.

When you have close physical contact with another person, you can get exposed to other germs, like flu, that someone else might have, not just STIs.

I am feeling a slight chill not like shaky type of chill but enough that I can feel it.  This happens on day 11 and continue onto day 12. So basically my symptoms are:

1.  I got sick a day after my encountered with the sex worker.  Felt better       after 2 days but I felt kinda weak every since.

2.  Slight chill on Day 11 and 12 but no fever.  It just feels like my body is coming down with a flu.

Also, I have been feeling weak and sick for the past 3 days but I don't have a fever.  From what I have read about HSV 2, I can be infected and not have any types of sores.  Do you think most ppl will get a\ cold sores or blisters after being infected with genital herpes?

I did not kiss her.  It doesn't looks like I have cold sores or blisters around my mouth.  The bumps went away today.  I do have a question for your about Genital herpes.  Do you  know when does it usually occurs once a person is infected for the 1st time?  Does it occurs in the genital area?

I have unprotected oral sex (reciever) and protected vaginal sex with a sex worker at a massage parlor 11 days ago.  I was really worried about STDs and herpes in particuliar.

I'm not certain that I am understanding your question completely.  Did you kiss this person?  If not,  then things around your mouth would not be related to this sexual encounter.  Can you answer my question and then perhaps I can help you more with your question?

Just to give a little more info.

I was the receiver of the oral sex.  I don't have a fever.
