Herpes?

I'm having very anxious feelings and constant unrest.  I was tested earlier this week (swab), so we'll see what comes back.  I thought I was exposed more than a month ago, because I caught a cold after a one night stand, and a week later start experiencing irritation in my urethra, which has since passed.  I've been to 3 different doctors telling me not to worry about herpes, but it's all that I can think about. I've had zero actual pain, bumps, or sores. It's been more than a month at this point. All I have is weird tingle sensation through out my entire body.  Any thoughts?

It would be incredibly rare to have lesions inside the urethra and none on the outside as well.
Cold symptoms don't have anything to do with hsv. Your symptoms don't even remotely sound like hsv at all

So, the tingle in my legs, feet, and thighs are dismissive?
It's all in your head man, you've done all this research and now your brain is saying omg I have this, and low and behold you've got symptoms that you really don't, the brain is more powerful than the body.
So, what you're saying is that I would have had other symptoms by now? Because all that I'm experiencing is weird sorta pins and needles around my groin and other body parts. Anxiety??
That's exactly what I would say it is in my opinion, you can't stop thinking about it, and I know that's the hardest part, I go there at least once a year, it's that what if factor and it sucks. But the reality is in most cases with how hyper sensitive you are to it right now, you would have noticed something, like undone said, with no blisters these aren't symptoms, they are your mind sting tricks on you. It's anxiety.
Hey guys. Today I'm having having aches and pains. A weird tingling sensation in my crotch and my lips are chapped.

Your question has been answered fully at this point that this does not sound like HSV.  As you are very anxious, seeing your doctor about anxiety may help. We wish you the best and are closing this discussion.

Again squints is correct. In the absence of lesions these are not symptoms on their own. The problem with reading the symptoms list is people don't understand the virus or the context of said symptoms

I agree with the docs, a primary outbreak usually happens between 3 and 10 days after exposure and swabs are only accurate when a lession is swabbed, and you haven't had any. Just keep an eye on it, not too close of an eye tho because constantly messing with it thinking "omg this is herpes" will cause irritation from fiddling with your junk so often. I would suggest getting an igg test now so you know your current status and then one at 12 to 16 weeks post exposure, that will be the most accurate reading, DO NOT get an igm or pay attention to an igm test because it often shows false positives, I know many doctors do both at the same time, but be sure you get an igg and only consider that score. Anything .91 and lower is neg and anything above 3.5 is considered positive, anything in between should be retested (all info is for igg)

Yeah, I've just been sending myself into fits almost because of anxiety.  The doctor swabbed my urethra just to be sure, because I zero sores.  He said at this point, I would easily have seen some kind of sore or rash to accompany all over my tingling sensations (anxiety).
Trust me just about all of us have been where you are, your mind will make you feel things that aren't even there, or are totally understand related, if you read my old questions I've been there too. The way I tell people to think about it is this (even tho I highly doubt you have it especially from a single one nighter) if you have it, you can't change that, so just live life like you're supposed to, if you don't that's amazing!! But in all reality it's a skin condition that generally get less severe over time, and doesn't stop you from living a normal life. I really doubt you've got it a one nighter is relatively low risk.
I understand, Thanks for your positive vibes.
