Herpes?

Hi there,

Quick question.  About a week ago I had unprotected sex with a man with genital herpes (I didn't know this at the time, and he didn't tell me until the third time we had sex).  The last time we hooked up was three/four days ago, and since then I have had extreme itchiness in my nether regions.  A few hours ago I took MONISTAT for a yeast infection and the itchiness is gone completely.  I do have one small, semi-painful bump on my labia, but it isn't itchy or liquid-filled.  I guess what I'm asking is- How doomed do you think I am?  For sure infected after three times being exposed in a week?  Is it possible I may luck out?  P.S. I couldn't tell you if he was experiencing an outbreak.  I didn't notice anything, though.

The odds are very low you contracted hsv. It's not an extremely contagious virus. I would get the bump looked at to be on tbe safe side. You can test vua igg bloodtest at twelve weeks from exposure.
