Herpes??

had unprotected sex and after a week i noticed 3 cuts.  2 on one side and 1 on the other side inside the shaft.  It healed over into a greyish looking lesion but skin colored.  There was no blister, discharge or pain  I went to the doctor and they thought it was a genital wart and was given topical solution.  everything cleared up but recently noticed slight burning sensation on inner thighs and the top of my buttocks.  no rash or sores.  i did test negative for hsv 1 and 2 at 3 weeks post encounter.  What could this be? I should add that I have had no flu symptoms, sore throat, aches  or pain.....thoughts?

Paper cut type lesions are far more common on a woman than a male. At this point  all you can do is test at the three month mark. If you get them again go see your dr asap and have them swabbed. It's odd your dr thought it was a wart though.
