Herpes2 Test Result

About 5 weeks ago, I received unprotected oral sex. This week I went for STD testing and was told I tested positive for Herpes 2. The result of the test 1.06. Supposedly a result of .91 is negative; 1.09 is positive. Am I negative or positive? Also, should I get tested again, and if so, how soon. Thanks, Don

Thank you s much for your comment. I will retest in the future. Unfortunately, my girl friend broke up with me form receiving the equivocal test result. But  I think that is for the best, too. Thanks!  Don

Almost certainly a 'false equivocal' here. HSV2 was not a realistic risk from receiving oral sex. Test again at 12 weeks past the episode, I'm sure this will confirm negative.
