Hey grace read this please

Help me o.k now in 2008 in november I had sex with my girl the condom broke...o.k about two weeks later I had thus feeling in my testicles like somebody hit me there..it went from that to a burning everyday..i went and got tested for gyno and chylmida..neg in jan of 09 I got tested for hsv2 blood...test negtive..o.k follow me in feb or march I had a sore with burning everyday...2010 went the same way  burning everyday..now and sometimes sores...o.k in aug of 2011 I had some sores I went to the doc...he said I have hsv2 .blood test xame back 3.82...he gave me sime valtrex..i took 44 pills 14 1000 grams...and 30 of the 500 grams..now the burning is still here.the doc said it mite b nerve damage.i havent done anything to get nerve damage...i feel this burniing everyday it goes of and on...is there anything else to cause these symptoms..i have a friend with herpes and she is normal,one oytbreak no burning...i took all those pills for hope and nithing has xhanged I feel stupid...i have had crazy thoughts..i been going through this for3 yrs...im at the point where I  cnt take it anymore...i cnt  go nowhere it burns..it gives me a break..sometime through out the day but soon as I forget it  comes rite back....

if you had contracted hsv2 in 08, you wouldn't get nerve damage from it 2 years later.

I encourage you to see an urologist and get a further work up done at this point.  I also recommend getting a herpes WB blood test to confirm your status since you had a negative test initially and then repeated blood testing 2 years later was a low positive. you haven't had any + lesion cultures of symptoms between that time have you?

are you still with the same partner or have you had new partners?

I havent had any new pertners...i had the burning first..also..the valtrex didnt wrk for the burning..and that was my first sym..i really dnt think this is herpes...because its been three yrs non stop..when the meds didnt wrk now I dnt kno wgt to do.no + lesion clutres either..can it cause nerve damage first...then o.b...how does it wrk

just burning and no obvious lesions typically isn't herpes related which is why consulting with an urologist is the best thing to do.

in general, genital herpes doesn't cause nerve damage.

if you are with the same partner, have they been tested to know their own herpes status too?

I have had the before though...i think its something else.. The sores he said,it,looked like a healed herpes and tested me gave me vsltrex

Herpes may not give you a nerve damage but the viruse lives in the nerves and when the virues is active you can feel nerve pain, burning, the same as shingle symtopms.
Herpes and shingle both the same family.
Herpes is a skin disease but the fact our nerves in the skin too.

if your herpes lesions were healed, taking valtrex at that point doesn't do much of anything.

follow up with the urologist. herpes does not cause nerve pains like this that linger after lesions are healed.

WHERE do u feel the burn pain?
do u have buttock pain?
did u have lymph nodes pain?
sometimes the bacteria gi thriugh our bloodstrem and bones. I think if the antiviral didnt help u so its not herprs but try antibiotic. Follow up with your doctor.

No butt pain no groin pain its everyday burn..the meds didnt help. Im hopeless..i dnt kno wht to do..its hard going back to the doc im sacared a.f...

please do not attempt to interpret herpes test results. you don't have education and expertise in them.
