Hoping someone can answer my question about five different STD result in the past 11 months.
Below are five different STD testings that I have done in the past 11 months. My Hereps HSV 1 result has come back positive and negative What should my next steps be to confirm if I'm positive or negative

Yes, I know that I test alot so please no feedback about that..I'm okay with wasting me money since I'm also a hypochondriac.

why only testing for hsv1 or has your hsv2 results all been negative so far?
the blood tests we have aren't as good at detecting hsv1 as they are hsv2. hard to tell if you really do have hsv1 or not. can you recall ever having had cold sores ever?
have you had any symptoms that have led to all this testing or just your general anxiety that has caused it all?
it's a little different for hsv1 than hsv2. not as many false positive issues with the hsv1 test as far as we know.
most adults have hsv1 orally whether they get obvious cold sores or not to know it. Up to you if you feel it's worth spending even more money to get a herpes western blot done or not to confirm your hsv1 status. Even the WB still misses 1 out of every 10 hsv1 infections so totally up to you if this is worthwhile or not.
