How do I know I had a Herpeselect test?

Would the lab results indicate what brand of test was used?  How do i know if a Herpeselect test was used and not some generic test kit. If my doctor or testing center specifically ordered Herpeselect, am I guanranteed a Herpeselect test kit, or can the lab potentially use another HSV 2 IGG type specific test?

if you were tested at a quest lab it was the herpeselect. it was a focus lab, it was the captia test. any other labs you'd have to specifically ask them what test they use.

What about labcorp?  Or bio reference lab?  Is herpeselect more accurate than other hsv igg tests
