I have had genital herpes for 25 years. I have small outbreaks of 3 sores. I will then eat a high lysine/ low arginine diet and the spots are gone in 3 days. I got small dots in July and they healed in 3 days but in a few days I got another outbreak the same as first in the same place. I finally called my dr who gave me acyclovir fir the first time. The spots disappeared but again in a few days I had the same pain in the same place. I see no spots but I still wonder if its active herpies
