How long do herpe symptoms last in the mouth?

After 40 yrs of marriage we separated, and I had oral sex and foreplay, no intercourse with 1 woman that I met. She left a blood blister on top of penal gland that went away I a day, then the tip of my penis started burning after peeing with a red streak down the center of the skin(this sometimes happened with my wife); tonsils/throat with pimples and par he's on inside cheek;starting coldsores(kept them a bay with abreve), and in nose, eyes burning. The partner got tested and waiting for results; she has no symptoms. Dr says he can't culture the sore because there's no fluid in them?) I'm 4 days on doxycycline, but to tonsils are still inflamed. Question: since I know I have herepes1 since childhood would it be possible to get herpes2 if she tests positive? Shouldn't these symptoms be going away instead of still happening over 2 weeks? Probably should have asked after her results but I pretty freaked out now.
Thanks
