How to read my IgG test results

I am trying to understand my test results for an HSV 1/2 IgG test.
Results say
Negative 1.0
There are 2 tests listed on my blood work and they both have those same numbers. However one test says 49.3 index and one says 40.5 index.
What does that mean? I know for certain that I have one if not both because I get cold sores which I believe is HSV-1.
How do I know if I have HSV-2?

It appears that you had 2 non-type specific herpes igg blood tests done. Contact your provider to confirm this and if that is correct, you need them repeated with a type specific test that tests separately for hsv1 igg and hsv2 igg.

Not sure why but some of my post is missing.
My results say:
Negative 1.0
My blood work is showing two tests but they both say:
Herpes Simplex Virus I/II, IgG
The only difference I can see is one test says 49.3 Index and the other says 40.5 Index.

Could anyone help me understand what this all means?
