Hsv1

I tested positive for Hsv-1 with 2.20. I was tested about 2 and a half weeks after I had in protected oral sex. I haven't had sore just burning sensation and rare sensation on lips but all started after I got the results. I have to say that by using a new toothpaste and wash my lips got burnt and woke up with burning lips, it's been 5 days and feel much better but I keep having burning sensation around different parts of my mouth. It's been 35 days and no sores.

Could this be a false positive I've read that it's possible if it's less than 3.5 and that if you've had chicken pox that may affect your results. No blisters nothing hurts and the burning is not in just one place

It could be a false positive. Was it an igg or igm test? Two weeks is to soon for a positive igg test so if you do have hsv1 then it's an old infection.

It was an igg. Also the symptoms I get, for example when it itches it's not in one place in particular, it might itch in a corner of my mouth then it will itch on another corner and so on.
Symptoms of itching like that are not hsv related
You can take another igg test.
