Hsv2

I have hsv 2. I know that the three sites to have common outbreaks are the mouth, penis, and anus. I've only ever had one outbreak and that was minor if it was an outbreak. It was around my anus. Does this decrease the odds of me spreading it through the other areas if that is where my outbreaks occur?

you aren't likely to have hsv2 orally.

when you have active lesions, you are shedding from the area of the lesion as well as from the entire anogenital area. In between obvious lesions, you shed periodically from the entire anogenital area.  In other words, no, having lesions around the anal area doesn't decrease your risk of transmission to a partner since shedding occurs from various areas regardless of where you typically get lesions.

make sense?
