Hsv2 confused about symptoms

I have never had blisters or sores, but I find the I have pains in my hands and they itch badly. I also got some bumps on the back of my elbow which are small fine bumps and these same bumps show up every now and then on my legs. The fine bumps on my elbow come strongly for a couple of days and then vanish and come again a week later. My test was an igg specific with a result of 5.0. Are these signs of an outbreak or could it be something else..

Get a type specific one as combined tests have higher false positive chance and it cant tell which kind. Of hsv it is. If it is hsv1 and you never had symptoms it is most likely an oral hsv1 infection.

It was a combination test. On my legs it just look like a bump here and there, no clusters

I have never heard of herpes infecting elbows. Was your test for hsv1? Or a combined test? My guess is you have an oral infection like most people do. Can you describe the ones that appear on your legs, their location. Most likely these are pimples and other everyday skin conditions herpes sores dont come on go constanly for a couple of days.
